I was born and raised in Witten, West Germany.
After high school I apprenticed in architectural ceramics at the Lechner-Hof. My love for working with clay was born, thanks to my masters Peter and Christel Lechner, and their journeyman Johannes Hans, who made those three years a true creative learning experience.
