Reach Out and Touch Connor's Cupboard Chest

Touch it! Open one of the doors. Pull out a drawer or two. Study the hand cut dovetails. Notice the fit of the mitered molding. Discover a secret compartment. Yes, you can do all of this with Connor’s Cupboard Chest. It is currently on display along with many other beautiful pieces of furniture in “New Traditions: Cabinetmaking” at the Folk Art Center in Asheville, NC. It will be on display until January 11, and I encourage all of you who have a love of fine furniture to take advantage of this hands-on opportunity.
